Ms. Laramie Naumann, MS with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be presenting a seminar about butterflies and hummingbirds on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9:00 am.
Thank you to Texas A&M Agrilife Extension for setting up our seminar with Mr. and Mrs. Koehler. It was informative and very helpful with information on how to identify and trap/kill gophers or moles. Attached are the handouts.
Prior to the shrimp boil and fish fry, from 3:30 to 4:30, there will be a mole and gopher presentation. Please plan on attending and then stay for the delicious food (which will not include gophers or moles).
As a reminder, starting at 5:00, ORWMA will be serving boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn, fried catfish, hush puppies, coleslaw and desserts.
On Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm ORWMA will be serving boiled shrimp, potatoes and corn along with fried catfish and hush puppies! There will also be coleslaw and desserts.
The benefiting charity this year is Colorado County Food Bank so please bring non-perishables like canned goods and dry cereal. Monetary donations are also appreciated.
All Oakridge land owners are welcome and YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING A SIDE OR DESSERT. Every thing will be provided by ORWMA!
We hope to see you all there!
Texas A&M Agrilife Extension will be presenting a program on pecan trees on May 8, 2019. Please see attached flyer for more information.
