Hummingbird Census – Late Summer 2013

We had 6 families participating in ORWMA’s first ever Hummingbird census.  Our official census dates were August 27 through September 2, 2013.   However, a significant increase in the number of hummers present was noted on September 4th by three families.

Note:  One participating family had a nested pair of Black-chinned Hummingbirds visiting, along with 1 juvenile bird.
